When immersed in water, the moisture will gradually weaken the relationship between the fibers, and the friction on the surface of the fiber will decrease, causing the temporary "stable" state to be destroyed, and the fiber will recover or approach the original equilibrium state. In general, in the weaving and dyeing process, it is necessary to stretch a plurality of times, and the fabric with a large tension is large in shrinkage, and vice versa.

Everyone should know that the yarn weaving of cotton bedding can be divided into 1288*68, 130*70/13372/40 satin/60 satin/80 satin, etc. The higher the yarn weaving, the higher the fabric and the processing of the fabric. The same (such as pre-shrinkage treatment or steam pre-shrinking, etc., to eliminate the potential of shrinkage of the fabric in advance, the fabric will generally not shrink more after pre-shrinking treatment).

Commonly used cotton bedding can be divided into four types: ordinary cotton four-piece suit, combed cotton four-piece suit, mercerized cotton four-piece suit, and sanding four-piece suit. The ordinary shrinkage rate can only be seen by personal luck. Generally speaking, good manufacturers can still be assured that combed cotton and mercerized cotton are generally processed when they leave the factory. The problem is not big. I can only say that the cheaper the shrinkage rate is, the more things are the same. Cheap? Insufficient size and reduced post-processing steps.

For cotton fabric products, the national standard shrinkage rate is: 5% or less (that is to say: 95cm is 100cm after the cloth is washed). The cotton bedding is washed and ready to dry. When the quilt is done, it will be useless. If your quilt cover is really much bigger than the heart, the shrinkage is useless. The general cotton quilt shrinks to 10cm, which is a standard 200*230 quilt. The size after shrinking is 190*220cm.

Washing can not use hot water, the water temperature should be controlled below 35 °C, can not be infested in the detergent for a long time, can not be ironed at temperatures above 120 °C, can not be exposed to the sun, can not be dried. Proper washing and drying should be done in a cool place, using a flat or a garden-type drying rack. Washing is best done by hand.
