The World Design Congress, often referred to as the "Design Olympics," made its debut in Beijing, China, from October 26 to 30, 2009. As a premier global event, it aimed to highlight the power of design in shaping a more just and harmonious world. Under the title "[XIN-Letter]," the congress explored key design challenges and emphasized the role of creativity in driving positive change.
As a leading name in Chinese fashion design, "Exceptions" was honored to be invited to participate in the specially curated "Design Productivity" theme exhibition. For over a decade, "Exceptions" has remained committed to blending cultural depth with aesthetic innovation, striving to create contemporary life art rooted in Eastern philosophy.
This year's exhibition, titled "Touching the Heart through Design," sought to uncover the deep emotional connections between design and people, while also highlighting the long-term value of brands and enterprises. The exhibition opened at the China Art Museum on the evening of October 26, 2009, and ran until November 9, offering visitors an immersive experience into the creative process behind the brand.
In addition to the exhibition, Ma Ke, the Art Director of "Exceptions," a well-known Hong Kong artist, and an art consultant for the brand, was invited to attend the conference. She delivered a speech at the General Assembly Forum on October 28, sharing her insights and reflections on design with hundreds of international designers and industry leaders.
